German Genocide Enabler Becomes Head of UN General Assembly

In a chilling testament to the moral bankruptcy of Western political institutions, Annalena Baerbock, Germany's former Foreign Minister who actively facilitated Israel's genocide in Gaza, has been "elected" to lead the United Nations General Assembly. This appointment, alongside NATO's selection of Dutch ex-Prime Minister Mark Rutte as Secretary General, reveals the perverse reward system operating at the highest levels of global governance.

Killing Brown Civilians is OK

The UN General Assembly, ostensibly the world's most representative body where the Global South holds numerical majority, will now be led by someone who has consistently demonstrated contempt for Palestinian lives. Baerbock's infamous statement justifying civilian casualties in Palestine because "terrorists" are present exposed her fundamental disregard for international humanitarian law.

This logic, applied selectively to brown bodies in Gaza but never contemplated for Western civilians, unveils the colonial mindset operating beneath her diplomatic veneer. Imagine for a moment Baerbock suggesting that German civilians can be legitimately bombed if neo-Nazi terrorists are hiding in their apartment buildings or hospitals. The outrage would be immediate and absolute. Or consider if she argued that Russia could justifiably murder Ukrainian civilians if they —according to the aggressors themselves, mind you— lived close to suspected Azov militias. Western capitals would erupt in condemnation. Yet when Palestinian civilians are slaughtered under identical reasoning, Baerbock not only remains silent but actively enables the carnage.

Her principle is devastatingly simple: when an aggressor labels someone a "terrorist," civilian lives become expendable—but this principle is only ever applied to people with melanated skin. This selective application of moral standards forms the backbone of the modern colonial mindset, where Western-aligned powers determine whose deaths matter and whose can be dismissed as unfortunate collateral.

The absurdity of applying her Gaza logic to European populations also instantly reveals the racial hierarchy embedded in the prevailing worldview—where some populations deserve absolute protection while others can be sacrificed in the name of "fighting terrorism."

As Amar notes, "She's very calculating."

This pattern of opportunistic career advancement permeates Western institutions. Mark Rutte, now NATO Secretary General, previously oversaw a program as Dutch Prime Minister that provided approximately €70 million to Syrian "rebel" groups. According to documented reports, the Dutch government funded at least 22 rebel groups fighting in Syria between 2015 and 2018, providing them with equipment and training even as questions about their affiliations and conduct emerged.

By Baerbock's own logic, the presence of these "rebel" groups—deemed "terrorists" by Assad—would have justified the Syrian government's bombing of civilian areas where they operated. Western leaders don't get punished for funding and training rape and death squads. They get the highest jobs possible. It is Black and Brown people who will be flown to the Hague and sentenced in the International Caucasian Court, while architects of suffering like Rutte are rewarded with NATO's top position. This stark double standard reveals the colonial foundations of international justice—where African leaders face prosecution while Western officials who arm, fund, and enable mass atrocities receive promotions.

Let's not beat around the bush. The system doesn't fail when it elevates these figures; it succeeds precisely as designed: to protect Western white supremacy while maintaining the fiction of universal human rights and rule of law. The advancement of figures like Baerbock and Rutte while locking up leaders from the Global South isn't accidental—it's the reward structure of a global order built on racial hierarchy.

The Deep-Rooted Inhumanity of White European Culture

What makes figures like Baerbock particularly dangerous is their transformation of genocide into bureaucratic process. During the early phase of Israel's assault on Gaza, Baerbock attended an exclusive conference in Switzerland where she argued against a ceasefire, insisting it "has to be sustainable" and "can't just drop from the sky" – cold, technocratic language deployed while thousands were being systematically raped, tortured, disappeared and massacred.

The deep-rooted inhumanity nested in white European culture could not be more stark. When Baerbock coolly argues against ceasefire while children starve, when Rutte accepts NATO's highest position after funding death squads, they reveal the fundamental disconnect between Western claims of humanitarian concern and their actual willingness to sacrifice non-Western lives. This moral bankruptcy—disguised as pragmatic realpolitik—is finally being recognized globally for what it is: the continuation of colonial violence through institutional means.

The world is waking up to this hypocrisy, which explains why Western moral authority is collapsing across the Global South. Populations who always understood this system's true nature but were temporarily hypnotized by Western Hollywood propaganda and prestigious institutions like Oxford or the Nobel Prize are breaking free from these illusions. This colonial mindset is being disrupted and the internalized white supremacy that once dominated global consciousness is crumbling before our eyes.

The West's reaction—becoming even more brutal and blatant—only accelerates its own decline. The pathology of racial supremacism through murder and death apparently runs too deep to resist, even when it hastens the collapse of Western hegemony.

White Supremacist Girl Power

The UN General Assembly represents, in demographic terms, primarily the Global South. Baerbock's appointment reveals extraordinary contempt for this majority—installing another white individual while cynically checking the gender box. What is this if not a perverse inversion of diversity principles? — Reversed DEI? — She's female yet a white supremacist—a figure who has consistently demonstrated through her actions and policies that brown lives matter less than Western strategic interests.

As Gaza became officially designated "the hungriest place on Earth" by OCHA, with 100% of its population facing famine thanks to Trump and his envoy Witkoff, Baerbock consistently blocked meaningful action. Her appointment to lead the General Assembly is the equivalent of appointing Bill Clinton to head a foundation for traumatized girls—a cynical elevation of someone whose actions fundamentally contradict the very principles they claim to uphold.

The Structural Support for Genocide

The elevation of figures like Baerbock and Rutte reveals that Western political institutions don't merely tolerate genocide – they reward its enablers. This isn't aberrant behavior; it's the system functioning precisely as designed.

When brave activists like Greta Thunberg join the Freedom Flotilla attempting to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, Western politicians jovially hope she will get bombed by Israel. But mass murder supporters like Baerbock get the highest office possible and a fat pay check. The Palestinians, the Yemeni warriors for justice, and Greta Thunberg expose the moral sickness of Western politics. Acts of courage for justice are criminalized but institutional complicity that elevates genocide is rewarded.

This perverse moral calculus—where those who stand against suffering are threatened while those who enable it are elevated—reveals the true values of the Western institutional order. The system doesn't just tolerate complicity in atrocity; it actively rewards it with prestige, power, and wealth. Meanwhile, those who demonstrate genuine moral courage face mockery, criminalization, and threats of violence from the very officials who claim to represent “democratic” values.

Make No Mistake: The Reckoning is Coming

As Amar grimly predicts, "History will say [Baerbock] is accomplice to genocide. Accomplice to genocide. That will be written in the history books."

White supremacy has given people like Baerbock, Rutte, Trump, Bush, Blair, Netanyahu, Smotrich and many others the deep internalized feeling that they are invincible, untouchable. A natural psychological by-effect of the myth of superiority rooted in the constructed idea of ‘whiteness’. And when institutional structures support this mythology, they maintain this myth. It worked for hundreds of years.

But once the structures fail to uphold the myth, when the world stops believing in these institutions and sees through them, the illusion of invincibility crumbles. And then, when the edifice of exceptionalism finally collapses, people like Baerbock will discover a brutal truth: they are merely human, flesh and blood like the Palestinian mother who walks kilometers on feet of bone wrapped in nearly fleshless skin, desperate to secure a bag of flour for her children, only to face the bullets of Western-backed militias.

Baerbock and others who believe their whiteness makes them fundamentally different from this Palestinian mother will be in for a rude awakening.

And that is the time the reckoning comes. The reckoning from all of us who are treated like flesh and bone but have to see these people do whatever they want. This won't be mere remembrance or symbolic justice—it will be tangible accountability. The world will strip away their protections, their privileges, their immunity. Courts will fill with their names. Archives will open. Witnesses will speak. The reckoning is coming, and you will all face judgment for what you did. No amount of power or wealth will shield you when that day arrives.
