This column perfectly explains why I become enraged when certain politicians, e.g., Bernie Sanders, insist on pinning the genocide entirely on Netanyahu. They can’t bring themselves to accuse Israel of committing these atrocities. Netanyahu could disappear today, and nothing would change. The worst thing I’ve seen in my 82 years.

TY, BB (that’s BettBeat peoples) for another snapshot of our flaming house.

I have often wondered if the frontlines of the Israeli criminal enterprise are suffering from PTSD or some form of extreme battle anxiety that is akin to what the violent victims of abuse experience. Greg Stoker has claimed that the IDF has 19 year old corporals and majors, and conscription is the law in the state that breeds lawlessness.

I’m not defending the detestable parading of self-satisfied, deranged messages of defiance, but if I was forced to be a soldier for a recognized pariah state, I would probably go underground or I might succumb to intense, continual propaganda that rationalizes compliant behavior. I can’t look at smiling, giddy reactions to repeated, criminal barbarism, by the very people perpetrators of the crime, and believe that they aren’t afflicted victims. If and when Gaza is liberated, I think the leadership needs to be arrested, and the youth need to be mentally assessed as per personal responsibility.

The Israeli state has sought to normalize inhuman, Zionist aggression domestically and globally. That is or should be subject to harsh punishment, but the ethos that has impacted the young and the once ideal, to the point where they exhibit alienated, inhuman behavior, needs to be investigated before it is judged. I was born in a country that relentlessly pummels the population with mindless, nationalist rhetoric, and millions of Americans could easily be depraved killers in another setting.
