Nope. Climate catastrophe is here. The way we live now is UNSUSTAINABLE. Green/renewable energy is a fucking myth. Oceans are acidifying, coral reefs are dying, forests are still being leveled. Mechanized agriculture will be ending. The world runs on CHEAP OIL AND GAS which are running out.

Deconstructions of narratives of managing the crises have been made by the some of the best scientists and social thinkers who are willing to stick their necks out. I could list several but here I will just give a recent short youtube video by Jim Massa from his channel 'Science Talk' in which he repeats what he has been saying (and I think showing the evidence for) for several years, namely that the processes that occurred during at least four earlier mass extinction events in the oceans are all occurring now. Jim says straight out: 'The oceans are dying'

Excellent discussion, much included in the UN’s 2022 IPCC6 WG3 mitigation report of unglamorous solutions gathering dust on the shelf while the resource curse leads to omnicide. Those 25-30% of land use change emissions of stored sunlight are the home lands of indigenous peoples in small bands with individualized languages being driven to extinction in a millennium long enclosure that accelerates since 1492. https://www.survivalinternational.org works on tribal survival against green consumption to bring enclosure to the public’s attention. Max is an important voice in this struggle that “bombs resistance into the Stone Age”.

I want to hear more land back movement in these discussions. The frame work is here, it exists. Indigenous knowledge and life ways are the solutions.
