The Israelis commit genocide because they enjoy it. They post their war crimes online because they are proud of them. They target children because it brings them pleasure.
I have no words. I am horrified to be amongst people who do not cry out for a stop to this madness! I have cried a river of tears. We must keep fighting for them! We must get justice for them!
I am stunned by Ali Abunimah not responding to your accusations but I have lost respect for a whole swarm of people and organizations and I should no longer be surprised.
I do think it would be a big mistake to not acknowledge that the Electronic Intifada does important work and has some very respectable people working there. Don't throw the baby out w the bath water because potentially one person running the operation has made a grave mistake or intentionally distracted from the truth.
I find the majority of Electronic Intifada reporting to be essential and I would need to know a lot more before I would no longer support them.
On the other hand, you keep opening my eyes up to just how sick and demented western culture is and has been. I hope you keep us up to date w Ali Abunimah's response, or lack thereof, because compromising people is intelligence services specialty.
Telling us the truth whether we like it or not is one reason why I support your work.
I also found the recent podcast critical of Iran to be outstanding.
The complicity of the authorities in the United States and United Kingdom extends far beyond providing material support to Israel as enablers of this genocide. Their muteness in the face of overwhelming evidence of the mass rape of Palestinians, is telling. We can only discern a moral collapse if such exists, especially amongst the elite. The normalisation of vulgar capitalism has exposed the absolute corruptible nature of wealth. It spawned narcissism on a global scale where the ideation of community is reserved for the less privileged. This is explored excellently in your article: “Where is capitalism? Unmasking its Hidden Role in Psychology”. In my opinion, the “cultural syndrome” that capitalism engenders, aptly and cogently explains the binary nature of morals and values: one for the affluent and another for the indigent masses.
Whereas the wealthy can choose their values and invent some new ones as they please, the destitute masses do not have that luxury. The latter have to believe in eternal salvation, that there is an Eden for them in the hereafter to justify their continued suffering. The wealthy do not have to use religion as an “opium” for their miserable existence, they naturally have an over abundance of possessions to keep themselves occupied. For some, philanthropy is the cocaine to feign decency.
The lives of the less fortunate masses are pockmarked with habitual strife. As communities, they rely heavily upon one another for survival. Whatever meagre possessions they have, they share. Such a life not only humbles the human being, it destroys selfishness and individuality. This inter-dependency engenders love, compassion, empathy, tolerance and understanding. This can easily be juxtaposed with the lack of such humane qualities in the elite which, in my view, explains their total apathetic nature.
The coercive measures that the political elite employ to “normalise” the Israeli Jews’ iniquitous behaviour, further expound their indifference. It is simply not part of their moral paradigm to be apoplectic about the insufferable consequences of the Palestinian rape and genocide. The apoplexy is left to a class of people that has invested just about enough in the system, intellectually and materially, to be terrorised by their captors.
Apart from the metastatic nature of the amoral western elite on the Israeli Jewish psyche, I will rest with the remarks that I have read on this platform that their savage behaviour has it’s genesis, inter alia, in a confluence of a persecution complex, a holocaust, a self-imposed victim-hood syndrome, an irrational belief in their own “race” supremacy, a warping of the mind since birth and a 3 000 year old story in a book.
I've mailed electronic interfada about the horrific rapes and physical abuse I'll give them a few days to answer me or do something positive or I will cancel my subscription

I watch the electronic intifada, I will ask them why they don’t speak of these things.

Excellent point Karim.
