How else can we describe our so-called Western ‘civilization’ other than as the pinnacle of absolute evil? After centuries stained by one genocide after another, we now witness one of history's most brutal and savage genocides unfolding live on our phone screens for nearly one and a half years. Yet, our politicians respond by imprisoning innocent students who dare to protest against it. Meanwhile, Netanyahu, with his smug smirk, travels the world unhindered, while his forces sexually assault Palestinian children who scarcely have time to process the trauma of losing their parents and siblings.
