I saw that interview with Sabby and had the same thought, what control did resistance groups, engaged in a life or death struggle with the occupation, have in Erdogan selling out Kurds and other groups for a land grab with the USA? Why does Scott throw in the towel and pull white savior as if it’s going to change who dies in tents in front of USA guns and below USA bombs in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq? It was silly and pretentious. And you are right the problem is the western governments enthusiastic and whole hog support of the genocide without any pressure from their publics as we saw in the election of one of the evils.

Silly, pretentious and, I would add, dangerous to our cause.

Yes and Ta-Nehisi Coates consistently makes that point, stop dehumanizing the victims by taking away their agency and voice.

Well, this one is tough. Because when it is about structural violence, they suddenly assign agency to the oppressed. Consequently, they assign blame to them—for example, claiming that Palestinians are the greatest threat to their own cause, according to Ritter—thereby holding them responsible for their oppression by an oppressive system.

This is a welcome article as many Whites, myself included, often do not realize how condescending their attitude can be, despite a principled anti-imperialist mindset.

Your article reminds me of Edward Saïd’s book “Orientalism”.

I am glad there are whites who don’t immediately flip in that typical allergic reaction to any criticism when they hear the word “white”, but actually take the time and calmness to read. Once you cross that imposed racial barrier and don’t take these things personally anymore, you will start seeing the insidious nature of it all and how it seeps into everything. And once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

I have been frustrated for sometime at the amount of air time Ritter, Galloway, Dore, Mearsheimer and others have been getting. It seems to be the same small lot of mostly white male experts and talking heads that make the rounds on all the supposed left leaning media. God help you if you dare to ask a confrontational question to Wilkerson, especially about Saint Powell. When are any of these people ever asked hardball questions? Almost never! Dore will yell at you, most of the others will walk of the set and Wilkerson has made vague threats in the past. Its long past time for serious leftist to broaden the crowd they draw on to discuss issues.

Long needed article, thanks.

Thanks for highlighting statements made by Scott Ritter and George Galloway. Ascribing an individual characteristic to a group is prejudiced, and they should be criticized for it. They’re implying that Arabs are stupid, deceived easily, and thus prone to divide et impera. I respect both Ritter and Galloway, they’re on our side, their public personas are genuine, this is who they are, and they are tiresome blowhards—whom I still respect. It’s telling though. The Palestinians have been fighting since the 1930s and they still haven’t surrendered. What do these tough—primarily loud—white men from the West do? Well, it sounds like they’ve given up. Scott Ritter is a U.S. marine. As an American civilian, I outrank him and I don’t give an F about the marines. Every empire has elite units, they're not special, and I do not care. I’ve lived with this tough guy nonsense my entire life over here. What happens when marines don’t get quick wins and start to take heavy casualties? This being 2025, not 1943 Battle of Tarawa, they quit and go home. Gazan mothers and children have more combat experience, if you take my meaning, than most of these want-to-be White saviors from the West. Nevertheless, I’m grateful for what they’ve done and said for Palestine, I just don’t like the prejudice. Ritter’s recent interview with Prof. Marandi was well done, he was very respectful and informed, and seemingly on the right side, unless I missed something.

All of this is unlike white Westerners like Sam Harris, Jordan Peterson, and Douglas Murray, for example, the latter being a craven, hypocritical fascist, who has the least expertise on anything he talks about. And, doesn’t want to talk to experts who disagree with him. He’s evil, while Ritter and Galloway are good men who know better, and I have confidence in them. Hopefully I’m not wrong on that. Thanks again for pushing back against Orientialists in our own camp, it's for their own good.
